The WMBC Children’s Ministry is dedicated to helping our children come to KNOW Jesus Christ, GROW to be like Him, and GO serve Him.
All of our children are precious to us. We take their spiritual well being and their safety very seriously.
2 Peter 3:18 But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and for ever. Amen.
Wharton Missionary Baptist wants to see a generation of young people fall deeply in love with Jesus so that they can reach a world of lost people with the gospel. This includes weekly Bible teachings that challenge our kids to follow Christ wholeheartedly and not compromise to the world’s temptations they face daily. It also involves fun times of fellowship where everyone gets to know each other personally and encourage one another in their walk with Christ.
We desire for our youth group to be:
Filled with the Knowledge…
Filled with all Wisdom…
Filled with Spiritual Understanding…
So that we can:
Walk Worthy…
Be Pleasing…
Be Fruitful in all Good Work…
Pressing forward to the goal of increasing in the knowledge of God!
For this cause we also, since the day we heard it, do not cease to pray for you, and to desire that ye might be filled with the knowledge of his will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding; That ye might walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God;

The Youth Ministry of Wharton Missionary Baptist Church exists to help teenagers grow closer to God through encountering His Word, worshiping together, and serving in His name. Our goal is to help students be the church RIGHT NOW through sharing their faith, serving in ministry and growing closer to Jesus every day.
